Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Xylo handles selected photos, editing records, device permissions, purchases, and support requests.

1. Overview

Xylo is a local-first photo finishing app. This policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you choose a photo, edit it inside the app, save a local record, export a finished image, make a purchase, or contact support.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to provide the features you request. That can include selected or captured photos, local edit records, purchase records, permission status, device-level diagnostics, and support messages.

  • Photos and edit results you choose to open, save, or export.
  • Local saved-take records such as titles, tool summaries, timestamps, and album-save status.
  • Purchase, billing, restore, and support-related records.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to open source photos, render edits, preserve local history, export finished images to Photos when requested, deliver diamonds and purchase entitlements, respond to support requests, detect abuse, and satisfy legal obligations.

4. Image and Media Access

When you choose to capture or import a photo, Xylo requests camera or photo-library access so it can display and process the image you selected. When you choose to export, Xylo requests add-to-library access so the finished result can be written to your Photos library.

5. Audio Processing

Xylo does not record or save audio as part of its editing workflow. If iOS presents a microphone-related prompt during a camera handoff, the app still only uses the image capture flow needed for the user-requested action.

6. Purchases and Billing

If you choose an in-app purchase, we process purchase and billing records needed to deliver diamonds, restore eligible transactions, handle support, and reduce fraud. Payment processing may involve Apple App Store records and our internal purchase logs.

7. Tracking, Analytics, and Advertising

If tracking-related permissions are available, we may use attribution, analytics, and campaign-measurement signals to understand purchase performance, evaluate promotions, and improve service delivery.

8. Sharing and Service Providers

We may share limited information with Apple, hosting and infrastructure providers, attribution or analytics providers, customer-support tools, and payment-related service providers that help us operate Xylo. Those providers may only use the data to perform services for us or meet legal obligations.

9. Data Retention

Local saved takes remain on the device until you delete them, remove the app, or remove the exported copy from Photos. Purchase and support records may be retained for as long as needed to provide service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and prevent fraud.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You can manage camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings, remove local saved takes inside the app, delete exported images from Photos, and contact support@eldric.com if you need help with deletion, access, or privacy questions.

11. Children's Privacy

Xylo is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information without permission, contact us so we can review the request and remove the data where appropriate.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the policy date and publishing the revised version on this page.
